Umi ga Kikoeru

The night is not young anymore as much as the crescent moon rise to the sky on the sea. One full moon had passed and now another is coming. Slowly in the silence, sound of the waves splitted by the rocks become a music that the sea plays everytime, sounds more and more beautiful when heard with hearts.

On the parked car, Cail lay back and watch the stars move slowly, the silence is very enjoyable for him, every natural sound in that beach sounds like a simphony of serenity more beautiful than anything in the city. He admit clearly that he's glad that he go here instead of staying home.

Underneath, in the spacious middle cabin of the car is Diaz, and Jo who's still shivering after being left outdoor while his friend enjoys warm cup of teas. They both sleep tight warming each others, sometimes moaning something. While in the also spacious half of the back, Rune's also sleeping, covered in blanket and coiled to a compact form.

The three (Mima, Rhys and Matthew) plays in on the beach with childlike cheers, chasing each others. It looks like young lions playing with their friends, jumping, running and rolling on the sand.

While the other three, they're not enjoying the night, thinking about how long they should pretend. As like any special agents, all three knows well how to put a mechanic into shame at fixing car, especially one that stopped because of too much curry-drunk juveniles jumping around and push the engine to it's limit.

But as a "normal" person, they have to take their time or else, doing things in a minute would bring suspicion, as they know the person with them would realize. In their head, they hope for the others to leave so they can do the job quickly without anyone seeing.

Then the car shakes.

Cail who try to get into his own mood felt really disturbed and might just snaps off, punch down into the cabin and pull that two out. Rune in the other hand, rolled out of the open trunk and then continue to roll away to a distance, making everyone stopped for a while at the weird thing.

Cail had one big sweatdrop forming behind his head while Mimaya suddenly burst and say loudly, "Weird animal !". So much for the ocean of tranquillity.

"Cih !" Ralph said under his voice, seeing the car is already half fixed when he moved his attention for a while. He just follow the game and pretend he find that little leftover thing and fix it.

Matthew walks to Cail and dragged him to join. "oi... I don't want to..." the blue haired boy protested, but Matthew don't care. "There's only the three of us, triangle is too much but not enough for two couples."
"are ?" Cail exclaimed, feeling uneasy.

"And there !" Matthew swing Cail to the sand, almost to the wave line where drifted seaweeds stacked itself.

"They're enjoying it don't they ?" Ralph asked Rune who's sitting, still covered in blanket he took from the back of Sejin's car. He's not answering, only seeing across the sea, enjoying the light of stars and moon that's reflected on the waves, sparkled by the shining planktons.

"Across the sea ? Anyone you're waiting for ?" Ralph asked again, but the answer he got is a head leaning towards him with purring voice. "Hhh... asleep already ? Like a child." Ralph tugged the blanket and cover Rune's shoulder.

Chapter 5

"So, how did everything turns out this way ?" Rune looks at the other two who sit around the same table, Ralph and Diaz. Both looks content and enjoying their cup of tea, but not talking so much to each others. In the other table, seems like the whole noise from their table is allocated to Matt and his friends, and some old customers who still have their young spirits. Mean while, Rhys sits alone with the master at a place that might made Cail looks in envy. Both seems like talking about something.

"Betsuni... and why are you looking so annoyed anyway ? I thought only several of us that hate the presence of another." Diaz take another chip from the dish in the middle of the table. There's a smile on his face that somehow make things felt more uncomfortable. "And, you're not one of those few right ?" Ralph added Diaz's words. "It's not, I'm just..."

"Oi waiter, refill !" Mimaya called from the next table while raising the empty teapot. Rune stands up and go to take the order, not answering the question from his friends.

"Cail, you sing too." Matthew pats Cail that looks uncomfortably shifting on his chair, looking at the others around him. Cail still don't answer and instead, thinking about getting out of that place as soon as possible. 'What has I done that I had to be all happy like an idiot here ?' he thought because everyone is getting too cheerful without any reason.

Then without he noticing it, it's already quiet and everyone is looking at his way. 'Whaat ? What have I done wrong ? Why do I become the bad guy now ?' "Okay, I'll sing." Cail surrendered under the pressure and everyone got loud again, cheering him, at least until the whole cafe drop dead silent when they learned about Cail's singing. (1). * * *

"Nice place isn't it." Rhys commented from the other table. "Felt warm and homely."

"Then I don't really like it." the master answered back and grinning wide. "I only want this place to simply be a place to have a cup of tea, and not to think of it too much. I feel if I think to make a style of it, I'll just be like those new cafe that sells lifestyle instead of tea." "But it's not isn't it ? This place felt..." "Young man, trying to be untypical is typical. That's a word from me. So please, just enjoy things as it is." Rhys pick up his cup of tea and drink it when the master replied him.

"I don't want to get corrupted with the mind thinking that I'm different."

"And he's the one person type that take advantage of other peoples' impression and storybook stereotypes." Rune added when giving a refill to their teapot.

"A worker should just shut up and don't speak ill of their employer." * * *

The page turns as they enjoy the night with endless stream of tea and cookies and Pocky and later on, dishes of curry brought in with one huge caserolle. "Haaaai, minna, curry for everyone !" Rune put plates with rice and then pour the curry on everyone's dish. "Please enjoy it !" both him and the master offered cheerfully.

And for that dish with tempting smell, plus it's cheap enough, they take their parts of that supper, enjoying the fact that the curry taste good, at third level at the standard sweet to spicy scale. "Umaaai... who made this ?" Matt asked still with the rice in his mouth.

"Not knowing is a virtue young man." the master gave his wise advice. "After you know, the world won't looks the same."

"You serve curry in a tea house ?" Rhys asked, looking at his dish and remembering his chat before with the owner of this place.

"Only as the last dish. Outside is cold, so I think it's good to have something to warm your body so you're not too afraid of the cold." "That also means: please leave quickly, we're closing." Rune interpreted the words.

"Asso..." Matt and the others looks at the two. "So next, we take a ride across the Cronar Bay Drive !" Matt gave his idea after seeing a glance of the picture hanging on the wall. It's the street that Matt mentioned, the street that stretch from the west side to the east side of that city at the parallel to the coastline, a good place to enjoy a ride and the night sea at the same time. "But, riding what ? Ralph's motorbike ?"

Everyone imagined, riding one big motorbike with seven peoples like in circus acrobatic show. "I'll try looking for a way." Matthew got an idea. "And quit flirting with him !" he added to Mimaya who took the liberty of feeding Rhys with his spoon.

The clock showed 22:48 when they finished their supper. Rune was washing the dishes when Diaz called him, asking if he want to join them for the weekend night. "Ii kedo... but how about Jo ? Hasn't seen him tonight." "Shimatta !" (2) * * *

A car(3) stopped in front of the cafe and a young man came out because Matt give him a call. It's their teacher who don't seem enjoying the night as his students. In the car is Sho, already taking his good night sleep like a child in his parents' car.

"So... this is the ride you're talking about ?" Ralph gave a forced smile. "I think I'll just take my bike and ride alongside."

"Where do you get the idea of asking a teacher to give ride for his students' weekend party ?" Seijin tried to sounds annoyed.

"Why's Shou in there ?" Matt moved the topic.

Behind them, the master turned the sign from "Open" to "Close", then added another sign saying "no part time vacancy" * * *

Extra Chapter: Slow Night at 〇〇〇 cafe (up)

With the voice like the turned page of a metal book, the clock hung on one side of the bar showed the time 21:22. since this is the friday night, peoples are having their weekend activtity in various facilities in this small town. For those with bigger mobility, they usually played to nearby larger cities, either by train or their private cars. The rest are mostly making themselves at comfort with their small and cozy town, although after a few decades living there, it can gets boring.

Tonight, at one of the corner of this city, the night is lively, with neon lights shining from shops at the shopping arcade running from the southwest housing area's town square straight to the downtown, street not too crowded but busy. To the side, runs everything from simple cafe where the teenagers have their date to divorce lawyers that lately starting to advertise thing like premium phone call service.

One of them is a cafe, filled with laughters from it's customers. They're group of teenagers having a party night together, the band of those with no couple to spend the weekend with after the joy of finishing a school project. Being underage and conditioned to nights of continuous works, they still can't drink alchohol legally, but high dose of supplemental drink spiked coffee would do, plus shortening their lifespan, not that they really cared about. One drunk looking participant raised the glass and said something in the local native language that from the tone sounds like cursing the hell out of their situation and may the devil just dance along with them all night long. The other joined and cheered.

Next door, is a smaller cafe. The place is a lot more simple outside and inside if not to say it's dull. The customers inside chats casually although not as noisy as the next door. It's decorated with a country feel, wooden furnished floor and furnitures, bright room with many plants and simple decorations. Along with two other workers there, Rune cleaned the bar table while the other takes several small orders. Everyone looks like regulars, and from their age, seems to be a long time loyal customers. They also talk casually, with the master of the place while walking around to another desk and joined their friend. * * *

Outside at the street, Rhys is taking a walk alone. He wore jeans and a dark red coloured jacket over his white shirt and navy coloured sweater inside. On his right shoulder, hung a sport bag with his belonging inside. His breath came out as white cloud because of the cold air tonight. Even in this summer night, the cold air blowing from the sea runs through the city like a creature of the dark, hunting down all the spirits residing in this small town.

He stopped in front of a cafe that looks different from the rest. The Two floored building that's located a building before the crossing is built deeper inside the city block for about half a metres, and the wall around the wooden door at the left side is covered with natural stone. To the right side is a glass structure like a green house, but it's covered with dark green mesh matching the plant that creeps over the wall.

The design felt like inviting for him, so Rhys decided to take a walk in. he pushed the door, sounding the bell hung inside. For a while he stand there and take a look inside. After the entrance's stone floor is a raised wooden floor. Then to his left is a railing that sepparate him from the tables and as he suspected, a small garden inside the glass extension. Smell of herb, cookies and tea filled the room clearly for those who just stepped in. From the name plate outside, this place is supposed to be here since 1952, quite long, and probably have a menu to keep it alive against the competition against those other big branded names like SumDollar, Java Bin, textile(1) or Coastalior Bucks(2) just few blocks away.

"Hi." Rune greeted him. Rhys saw that he had changed from the clothes he wore today to a plain shirt and black trousers. "Want please have a seat." he continued not really caring for Rhys who on his face already saying 'Hey, I know you.'

"Want to order anything ?" he offered the menu book. Rhys browsed the book, looking for something that might fits him for tonight. "How about just thick black coffee. I'm not used to those blend terms, so I'll take your recommendation." "Ano... we don't have coffee here, just tea." he tried to keep it to a smile when the other customer chuckled. One of them playfully teased the master about how he should just give it up although he don't like the smell of coffee. * * *

"Thank you for the order, please wait for a while." Rune go to the back to prepare the tea and the dish Rhys ordered. And while he's at it, the master walk near and take a seat in front of Rhys. He's a man at probably fourty years old, with rough looks of someone doing more than just running a tea house, especially his build. And while he's at it, the other customer greeted him also, as a new customer that's not so common. "Don't be so worried, we're just greeting a new customer." a younger man, looks like in his mid twenties pats Rhys and relieving his worries.

It didn't take long before they get acquinted. "Seems like a homely place, unlike what I imagined about a cafe." Rhys commented. "Well, that's not quite what I sell. I just want this to be a place for people to drink tea, no gimmicks like a homely place, exclusive place or even being an anti-comformist, don't think that kind of thing is cool when we already thought and play by it." the master grinned. * * *

"So that means you have to be careful. He's the kind of person that hide behind stories' stereotype of kind hearted strict boss while he's actually that." someone put his hand on Rhys' head and use it as a support. When Rhys turned his head, it's a scary looking man with red hair. From a glance, he can see a tattoo at the shoulder of that man because he wore a sleeveless shirt, putting his jacket to hang on his left shoulder. The nicely built body made Rhys' thought starts imagining things, but he shoo it away.

"Ah, mezurashii jyan, Diaz." Rune who just came out of the kitchen with a tray greeted him. "Not so usual to see you come here, and exponentially rare to see you without Jo." he chuckled while putting the tray on the table.

"You know him ?"

"Ah, Rhys, let me introduce him. Diaz Lach, a senior at your school." "And Diaz, this is Rhys, he's a new transferred student, first year, though you might not know him for not really paying attention in your last extended year study." "I don't want someone who's already out from the school for a year saying that to me, Seara-chan." Diaz replied Rune's words with teasing tone. "I want the one like usual." he continued, loving the view of Rune's reaction for his last line.

"Diaz, you don't come here often enough to have your pattern of what's your 'usual' menu is."

The bell sounded again, followed with the sound of chatters from the door. When they inside the tea house turn to look, they saw the other in their group. Mimaya and Matthew, playful as usual; Ralph looks troubled by the joke that two are making; while Cail in the other hand, looks like he's just unfortunate enough to meet them and ends up getting dragged for an extended session of the afternoon's gathering.

"Uh... how's everyone suddenly gets here ?" Rune commented, more confused than surprised.

Chapter 4

"Geez, you three are late. We've waited all day, and you,Sleeping Beauty, wake up!" Matthew said while poking lightly at Mimaya, who's sleeping beside him.
"You arrived only 10 minutes before them, senpai," replied Cail, still annoyed because they ruined his good solitary time. He glanced at the people in front of him and said nothing then return to his place to resume reading his book.
"Maa, Cail, don't angry at us. I've told you that we didn't know this was your favourite place, haven't I?"
"No, you haven't, Rhys-senpai, and stop bothering me, okay?"
Rhys was ready to talk back but Ralph cut him out, "Are we gonna have a picnic or not? If not, I'm going home. And I even don't understand why did I agree to do this...."
"Of course we will, Senpai, but we need to wake him up first," Matthew pointed at Mimaya. "Leave it to me," Rune approached Mimaya and said something in his ear. Surprisingly, Mimaya woke up after that.
"Wow, what did you said to him, Seiara-san? Even I, who's known him since little still have a problem in waking him up."
"My name is Rune! I've told you to not call me with that name TT And what I said is a secret, I can't tell you." Rhys snickered at Rune's reaction.

"Oh,you've finally arrived, guys." Mimaya was fully awake and suddenly stretch his arms out while yawning loudly, making Matthew, Rhys, Rune, and Cail jumped out surprised slightly, only Ralph and Sho stood still, no reaction at all if they really did surprised.
Matthew whacked him, "Don't do that again, will you? I hate this bad habbit of yours."
"Okay, now that everyone is here, so let's start our picnic!" Rhys said.
Rune and Ralph walked to Matthew and Mimaya' place but Sho didn't move from his place. His eyes looking at a certain spot in the building left side right on the river.
"Oi, Sho-kun~ What're you doing? Come here quickly!" Mimaya called him from inside the building.

"......" Sho walked slowly to the buliding, and when he arrived, everyone has already took out their obento. Sho then sat beside Ralph and took out his obento too.
"Wow, Sho! Your obento looks delicious, did you make it yourself?" asked Rhys while eating his own obento.
"No....Sei made it....."
"Sei? Who's he? Hm, I think I've heard that name before...."
"........"
"Sho?"
"Aw, Rhys, we're still eating...don't keep talking, and if you want to know Sei is Sho's guardian. End of matter." Matthew managed to say while trying to steal Cail's tempura but failed and ended up getting a look from him which said "Try to do that again and I'll kick you, senpai".
"Btw, guys, don't you feel cold in here?" Mimaya suddenly talked up ignoring Matthew and Rhys who started to bicker at each other.
"No, I don't," Cail, Rune, and Ralph said at the same time. They looked at each other for a moment then shrugged off and continued to eat.
"That's strange.....and I know that Rhys and Matt don't feel cold too, judging from their looks."
"...That because he's standing behind you, Mimaya-senpai..." said Sho dispassionately.

There was a long silence around the seven of them before Mimaya could speak up again, "What do you mean by he?.....there's no one behind me, Sho."

"Don't say that this "he" you're talking about is a......" Rhys backed away from Mimaya slowly with Matthew while Cail, Rune, and Ralph who sat quite far from Mimaya kept staring at him and the empty space behind him.
Sho nodded, "He's curious....about what we are doing here...but I think he won't harm us.."
At the end of his words, Rhys and Matthew have already scrambled away from Mimaya and stayed behind Sho.

"Wow, I didn't know you could see things like that, Sho" said Matthew which made the others sweatdropped.
"What the hell did you said, Matt! Argh, Sho, do something....I don't want to die ><" Mimaya pleaded and stood still, didn't dare to do anything. Sho sighed and then chanted something.

A minute later, "He's gone, senpai....".
Rhys peered up into him, "Are you sure?"
Sho only looked back at his senpai.
"I took that as a yes, besides, the cold feeling is really gone. Thanks, Sho," Mimaya finally relaxed again and glared at Matthew and Rhys, "And thanks to both of you who left me behind T_T" Matthew and Rhys laughed nervously while walking back to his sides.
"Anyway, let's finish up our bento first, it's getting cold." Mimaya twiched at the "cold" word and muttered, "You're not getting away with this, Matt."

One hour later, Sho arrived at his and Seijin' apartment.
"Okaeri, Sho. How's your date with Matthew and the others?" The person who greeted him was sitting in the sofa reading a magazine.
"Nothing special.....for me," Sho put his coat and sat beside him, "And it's not a date, there's no way I'd date one of them, especially that Matthew" added him sharply.
Seijin laughed softly and turned to him, "Yeah, I know that."
Sho looked away from Seijin and muttered "And I know that you just like to tease me, don't you".

"Did you say anything, Sho?"

"No..."

"Anyway, there's no call from them, so looks like we'll have a nice evening today. Now go take a bath."

"Hai...."

"Urusai! That time I was just......too tired from our mission." And with that, Sho walked away into the bathroom, leaving Seijin who laughed louder this time.

Chapter 3

Third day after Rhys' arrival and both Mimaya and Matthew still haven't introduce them to their friends yet. But who cares actually, they have fun, Matt and Mima tease each others fighting fire of jealousy with larger flame of jealousy in and on. While inbetween, Rhys innocently seduce the two of them, probably without even realizing it.

'Though it looks so clear already how the situation is.' he thought to himself smiling while both are fighting for a tonkatsu. 'Yes, very competitive, although that tonkatsu is from my plate.' behind, Rhys was crying for his lunch, only the spring onions and a bit of scrambled eggs are left on the rice bowl.

Ralph came with his lunch and sits next to Matthew for a while, looking at both, who's now already preparing for their fight with the mantis fist (equipment: two pairs of chopstick miraculously split perfectly).

"This is a perfectly split chopstick, and with this, I'm undefeatable." Mimaya exclaimed, raising his right hand in front of his face before striking to Matt's right hand that's holding the price.
Matt turned his body easily and blocked the attack with the chopstick in his left hand. "Amai... you're still far from beating me grasshopper."

Not paying attention to the stupid fight, Rhys instead look at Ralph who's looking down like he's mad, his face is all dark. "Doushitano ? Daijoubu ?" Rhys asked in concern.
"That two... they're too... I'll make them shut up !" he slammed the table and stand up, turning to face both Matt and Mima who stand still. The whole food court become silent like a dead town in cowboy movies when they sensed a killing intent from Ralph.

'He failed splitting the chopstick.' Rhys look at the chopstick Ralph left on the table.

"Ah, the new student. What happened ?" Seijin-sensei came with his own lunch. Alongside with him is Sho, who looks cold as usual. He quickly understand the situation by looking at the three students standing still. So he put his plate down next to the students and pats Ralph's shoulder.
"Boy, eagle don't eat mantis."

'Really, they should stop providing that kind of chopstick here. And why do they keep it at this table anyway ?' a mystery that keeps disturbing the mind of the foreign history teacher.

"Sensei, are you a bad person ?" Mimaya asked while finishing his lunch. Sho moved a bit in reaction to that sentence.Sensei smiled and just answer the question diplomatically, "Do you think I'm a bad person ?"

Both Mimaya and Matthew nodded simulatenously. "That test you gave us before is a hell, that's not included in the part you teach us."
Mima nodded in aggreement but then pats Matt's chest with the back of his hand. "Chigau tte..."
His face turns serious and look at the teacher straight in the eye. "Because..."
"Because ?" Seijin repeats the word.
"Man who can split a chopstick beautifully has a beautiful heart." Mimaya explained with serious expresion.

Rhys fell down. "Mata are ka ?" he gave out a forced unnatural laugh.
Shou look at his guardian's chopstick. "Ah, hontou da."
Around them, other students quickly hide their own chopsticks.

"Don't look so high of yourself." Ralph mumbled under his voice, seeing the five pairs of chopstick, all that he failed to split.

The afternoon after school, Ralph asked Mimaya and Matthew to came to Clementean Park, to the place where they usually gathers. "You broke your promise and not coming yesterday. It's fun, but not fun enough."

"So you all need me don't you ? Without me, the party wont even be half as good !" Mima laughed proudly, his nose is like getting few inches longer.
"Yeah right, we need the clown of the gang to have more fun."
"Actually no, we need him to distract the cops from chasing us." Ralph told his reason.

"Cops ? What did you do actually yesterday ?"
"Nothing, just launching fireworks from the Clementean park, although shit happened and it flew to the nearby bush. Small fire, but the fire department came quick, so don't worry."

"No really, I'm worried." both Mimaya and Matt stand there like a pair of statue with pale blank face. "That's his idea isn't is ?"

A local town newspaper got flown by the wind passed by, the headline says:
Bush on Fire -Accident involving Local Teenage Boys-

"Matt, Mimaya, there you are !" Rhys runs to them from the school building. "Going out today ?"

Clementean park, that afternoon, when everybody gathers and form a circle between the seemingly endless trees, forming wall to the opening in the forest. They chant something, wind blew and slowly their body floats in the air.

"Over here, I guess, that's the place isn't is ?" Rune and Ralph look at the map they're holding and then look around. Sho is behind them, yawning unnoticeably.
"So now, we're here." he points at a circle with the word "forest clearing"
"What ?! Aren't you say we're going to the red pavillion by the river ?" Ralph took the map and take the position of the navigator, leaving the other person now taking all the big boxes of lunch from the place where the two are having part time job.

"Na... nanjya kore wa ?" Ralph look at the map sketch he hold, now filled with various line, number and symbol, a lot more complex than what it need to be and definitely a lot more confusing that it should already be.

"Na... navigation symbols."

"Baka !"

"Psssssst !" the spiritualists having their practise there told them to be quiet and point to a board hung on the tree saying "Please be Quiet"
At the lower right side, there's a smaller print, "Property of the Public Library" a stolen property it seems together with the big book their leader is holding.

When the sun is halfway back, they finally reached the place they're having a picnic. The place is a small building standing in the middle of a river fifteen feet width. It's all red like a building from old Chinese movies.
There, the others had waited, including Cail who's there all along. He don't look so happy.

"See ? I told you he's here." someone exclaimed, pointing at the annoyed Cail who's now looking for who saying that, which he assume is the one making the plan to disturb his solitude with some loud party.

Chapter 2

~the school bell rings~

Mimaya: Oshh~~~ Matt-kun, Rhys-kun~ ! We're supposed to go to somewhere today, right ?
Matthew: Maa.. Ma.. Omae... Don't be so irritating, geh..
Mimaya: he ? What do you mean by irritating ? I think I don't do something that'll make anybody feels irritated.
Matthew: Geh. But you are irritating me.
Mimaya: Which of my attitude irritates you ? Ne, Matt-chan ?
Matthew: Geh. that one *points to Mimaya's nose* When you call me that way.,br> Rhys: *laughing because the foolish acts made by those two creature*
Mimaya: Nan.. Ga ? I call you that way because we are good friends ne, Matt-chan ?,br> Matthew: *sigh*
Rhys: Ne, Matthew, Mimaya, I don't mean to bother this SWEET conversation ^^; But... where'll we go now ?
Matthew: Ah ? Yeah, you right ^^;;; The Clementean Park ^^ we usually play there with all of our friends ^^ and now it's including you. Because you're our new friend ne, Rhys ?
Rhys: Ah. Yeah. Thanks.
Mimaya: Maa maa.. What's with this SWEET conversation ?
Matthew: Don't copy my words ! !
Mimaya: I do what I like. Stop commanding me !
Matthew: *shocked* --He never mad at me before--
Mimaya: I must go to somewhere else. You two, just go wherever you want.
Matthew: *glare at Mimaya. Feeling confuse*
Rhys: *smiling, knowing THIS KIND of situation*
Mimaya walked away before Matthew and Rhys.
Matthew: Geh, that one. Always do bothering things like that.
Rhys: Hahaha. Calm down Matt. Then, where will we go now ?

*Mimaya realizes that he has been stared by Matthew, he looks back to Matthew and smiles*

Rhys stare at those two, they act so strange these days. He thought that they didn't getting well yet. A little smile appears on his lips.
Rhys: Mimaya. I'm finished. Thank you. You're a big help to me. *return the book to Mimaya*
Matthew: Ah, Mimaya...
Mimaya: *accept the book from Rhys* You're welcome. You're my FRIEND, right ?
Matthew: *looks disappointed when hearing the words that came out from Mimaya's mouth*

Chapter 1

Matthew: [running] Akh, dammit... I'm late in the first day school ceremony. Even it's the first day I become a senpai. Geez... It's not good at all... why did I wake up late ? Agh, maybe I'll get punished by that baka sensei again.

==At the gate, the duty is waiting. And the today's duty is Mimaya. The mixed Japan-Norwegian guy. He is Matthew's good friend ^__^ & Ralph. ==
Mimaya: Matthew ! ! ! Hurry ! ! ! ! You only have 18 second to pass this gate ! !
Matthew: I know ! I know ! [run faster and pass the gate before it closed]
Ralph: geez... even a bakayaro can survive if he had an aim, eh ? [smirk]

Mimaya & Matthew: [stop fighting and stare to voice source.]

***** The bell is ringing they split to their own class. ^^;;; Because Mimaya are in D class and Matthew in B class ^^;;;

Matthew sit on his seat. Not too long, the sensei came and brings a newbie in his class.
Teacher: OK class, we have a new student here. Ok, you can introduce your self now. *nod*
Newbie: *nod and smiling* Hello all. I'm Rhys Eavenson Nice to meet you all.
Teacher: Ok, Rhys. You can sit now.
Rhys: [looking for empty ones then find it. It was beside Matthew's] [sit]
Matthew: I'm Matthew. Matthew De`luxe Harnbarg. [give a hand]

=== The lesson begun.
Rhys: Err.. Matthew, I don't have the book yet. The headmaster said I will get it this afternoon. Can we use it together ?

** break time bell is ringing.
Matthew: Hey Rhys. I'm going to go to the shokudou. Wanna join me ?
Rhys: Ah, yes. Sure.

*** They go to the canteen.
Matthew: Ne, Rhys? What would you like to eat ?
Rhys: Umm... maybe nothing. I don't really want to eat. *smile*
Matthew: [silence for awhile] Sou ka. But I need to eat something. You wait here, OK ?

In a short time Matthew came back bringing a plate of rice, a bowl of soup and kuo tie XD *author: XDD I want kuo tie and hakaw XDDD*

Suddenly Mimaya appears.

Mimaya: Ne, Rhys, would you tell us where's you previous school ? Then why are you moving here ? And why do you move here ?
Matthew: [munch] Oi Oi its not an investigating time, you know ? It's lunch time.

Rhys: Umm.. I my previous school is Morvoick School. It was pretty far from here. not a wellknown well known school tough though. I move moved here because I stay with my uncle and auntie. My mom and dad move to another country.
Mimaya: Oh. What can I say... maybe "sorry"
Rhys: No no. Im not that pathetic, OK ? *smiles*
Mimaya: *smiles too* Matthew: *staring at both of them. look bored* Oi oi. Till when would you want to talk about such nonsense ?
Mimaya: Matthew... Sometimes I don't really understand what the meaning of your sentence or words. You use it improperly.
Matthew: Ignore it. I was just talking.
Mimaya: What do you mean with just ?ignore it' ? If I ignore you, you'll get angry to me.
Matthew: So ignore my anger.
Mimaya: Then you will get more angry than before.
Matthew: That was my trick.
Mimaya: Gee--- ! ! ! ! ! Wha--t ? So you were tricking me for that long time ? ? ?
Matthew: *quiet* *smiles* Maybe. *walks away*

Rhys: Mimaya-kun..

Rhys: You two really had a good relationship eh ?

** bell is ringing and they must go back to the class.
Mimaya: Ok, Rhys-kun ^__^ c ya. I'll meet you again when after school. Maybe the three of us can go somewhere.
Rhys: Thx Mimaya-kun ^__^ cya.
== they split.

--Rhys get into class then sit beside Matthew.
Matthew: Hey Rhys.
Rhys: Yes ?
Matthew: That baka definitely asking you to go with us after school right ?
Rhys: Ah, yes he did.
Matthew: So ? Will you go with us ?
Rhys: Yes, my pleasure.
Matthew: Good the. That bakayaro is little easy to get disappointed. Just like a kid. Little spoiled.
Rhys: *smiles* You really know him that good, eh ?
Matthew: It's not a big deal. He is my best friend since I was kid.
